Okay... I've really had it with this jerk (tries not to cuss) he sells the trashiest items in game in piken or items that are customized and if you don't buy his worthless drops he spams open trade (and closes it opens it a lot) the guy basically owns piken and it's bull... I need to know is this reportable at all... is it a form of spam and scam because he has me on his (hit list) he said his guildies are gonna bug the hell out of me because I'm a stupid newb for not buying his obvious garbage... I have him on ignore but when I walk in piken (because I like to help the newbies) he spams open trade and if I take him off iggie he starts pming me "newb newb newb! idiot newb!" ...isn't there like an age limit to this game to start... xD

advice plz...

I can only suggest you not go to Piken. And you're not supposed to use names. Perhaps go do it one more time and take a bunch of screenshots then report him for harassment.

Be sure to unignore for extra screenie goodness. Don't even say anything back to him though; don't want to make it look like you're the same as him.

Make this idiot pay. He is committing an act of harrassment, and it could also count as stalking, which is forbidden as per the EULA.

Take the SS's - Send report. Keep tabs on the jerk, every time you see it doing that stuff, take SS's - send report. Have your friends witness the crap & have them report the knothead, too.

Spamming is against tos. Take screenshots, tell NCSoft the date, time, and exact place it happened.

While what this player was doing isnt very nice, I hate it when people put it down to age, just because someone is 12 years pld or younger DOES NOT mean that they are automaticly immature.
My sister plays this, shes 10 and is a very respectable player, my brother on the other hand is 15 and is a jerk/ass most of the time. Please people, no more ageism.

You do have to be 18 or over to create an account. Failing that, a parent or legal guardian must create the account in their own name.

No...you actually don't...cause then wed have no teens. This game is rated TEEN, meaning that anyone 13 and over CAN buy and play the game without any problems, however, if you are under 13 then you probably need adult supervision, although most kids under 13 don't care.

According to the EULA you agreed to, you're supposed to be 18+ to create an account.

I definitely agree on that. I've only been playing for about a month now, but the game is basically one big chat room and I think parents that let young kids into chat rooms unattended are idiots.

I see the "F" word and sexual innunedos all the time in GW as well as in most other internet games. (And yes I realize it's most likely the kids saying this stuff and not the adults). Even if the game creators have filters on the chat we all know ways around the filters and chat moderators can't be everywhere.

Actually, in favor of GW, I've found the chat to be milder in this game than in some others that I've played. You'll always have folks that come into the game only to harass and shock others, but for the most part I see chat taken up with folks looking for trades or quest/mission buddies.
